Multiple Instances

TableCurve 3D supports multiple instances on a given machine. The first instance of the program will be the primary one, and only it will save a configuration. Additional instances are supplemental, and intended to complement the primary instance. When the first or primary instance of TableCurve 3D is closed, all other instances of TableCurve 3D running on the same machine will also be closed. In network versions, supplemental instances do not affect the user count

Configuration Files

To support networks, the TableCurve 3D configuration files for multiuser versions are now written to the Windows directory rather than the main TableCurve 3D directory. The file Surface Fit 3DV4.CFG will contain all user preferences while the file Surface Fit 3D2V4.CFG will contain a UDF library of the last session UDFs. The file Surface Fit 3DTRV4.CFG contains the information of the state of the Import Manager when the application closes. The file Surface Fit 3DACQ.CFG contains the acquisition preferences set by the user. The Surface Fit 3DEVAL.CFG contains the input data to the Evaluation of the last session.
