Clear Inactive Points

This option clears all points in the current X-Y data set that have been excluded from fitting. Such points are marked as inactive either in the TableCurve Editor or ASCII Editor or by Sectioning of the X-Y Data.

When a high percentage of points have been marked as inactive, clearing these points prior to fitting can result in faster curve-fit processing, especially with non-linear equations. After discarding the inactive points, you may want to use the File menu's Save As option to save the data absent these excluded points.
