Compare with Reference

This option is useful if you want to compare the current data set with up to four reference data sets. A reference can come from any of the supported import formats, including equation fit references that have been saved to disk. When an equation reference file is selected for data import, discrete data are generated. You must supply a starting and ending X-value and also either an X-increment or total data count.

A reference can represent a single data file or a set of appended data files produced by repeated Append operations followed by a final Save As. A discrete data reference can be generated from a curve fit using the Review's Eval or any Export option; a continuous equation reference can also be saved to disk. Such a fit can likewise be based on a single set, or any number of appended sets intended to produce a standard.

The data sets are displayed in a TableCurve 2D Graph.

Adding References

Use the buttons labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4 to add a reference.

Removing References

Generate/89121.gif Use the Reset button to remove references in the reverse of the order added.

MS Word/RTF Export

Generate/8971.gif The MS Word/RTF File Export option is used to save the current graph to either a MS Word file or a portable RTF (Rich Text Format) file. The graph is inserted into the file as a Windows metafile.
