Network and Site Licenses

Multi-user network packs and site licenses enable multiple copies to be run concurrently from a single product installation. Single user copies are limited to the installed machine. The number of current and maximum allowable concurrent users is shown in the Help menu's About TableCurve 2D option. To upgrade to a multi-user network pack, please contact SPSS sales.

Multiple Instances

TableCurve 2D supports multiple instances on a given machine. The first instance of the program will be the primary one, and only it will save a configuration. Additional instances are supplemental, and intended to complement the primary instance. When the first or primary instance of TableCurve 2D is closed, all other instances of TableCurve 2D running on the same machine will also be closed. In network versions, supplemental instances do not affect the user count.

Configuration Files

For network installations, the TableCurve 2D configuration files are written to the local Windows directory. Single user installations write these configuration files to the main TableCurve 2D directory. The file TC2DV5.CFG will contain all user preferences while the file TC2D2V5.CFG will contain a UDF library of the last session UDFs.
