Data Summary
The Data Summary is used to display a point by point data summary for the current equation with the X, Y, and Z value of each data point, the predicted Z value, the residual and %residual, the confidence limits, and the prediction limits. The Data Summary is toggled on and off by the Data button in the Surface-Fit Graph window. The window size and position you choose for the Data Summary is automatically saved across sessions. The Data Summary uses the TableCurve Studio Text Viewer to display, modify, and print the information.
Type Menu
The Type menu is used to select the display of residuals, confidence limits, prediction limits, or all three types of information. You will need to select a small font size in order to fully print all three types of information on a standard size page or you may wish to use a landscape orientation.
For 2D (XY) Data
For a 2D (XY) fit, the Data Summary's Options menu also offers five confidence-level choices for the confidence and prediction limits shown: 90%, 95%, 99%, 99.9%, and 99.99%. The initial level is the one set in the Curve-Fit graph's Confidence Intervals option.
If RTF windows are set in Preferences, the Data Summary uses an RTF window for data tables of 128 or fewer points; larger tables always use the faster standard text window regardless of that setting.
