Multiple Instances

TableCurve Studio supports multiple instances on a given machine. The first instance of the program will be the primary one, and only it will save a configuration. Additional instances are supplemental, and intended to complement the primary instance. When the first or primary instance of TableCurve Studio is closed, all other instances of TableCurve Studio running on the same machine will also be closed. In network versions, supplemental instances do not affect the user count

Configuration Files

To support networks, the TableCurve Studio configuration files for multiuser versions are now written to the Windows directory rather than the main TableCurve Studio directory. The file TableCurveV4.CFG will contain all user preferences while the file TableCurve2V4.CFG will contain a UDF library of the last session UDFs. The file TableCurveTRV4.CFG contains the information of the state of the Import Manager when the application closes. The file TableCurveACQ.CFG contains the acquisition preferences set by the user. The TableCurveEVAL.CFG contains the input data to the Evaluation of the last session.
